The easiest way is to cut each of the area on your map into pieces (image), then assign a click event to each of the images. Alternatively, you have to put the precised coordination of each of the areas on you map. I do not have the code handy, but it should be available on some Excel books - I have seen it. Personally, I think the later method is more time consuming than the former one. _________________ Data

im really a scratch guy for VBA.
pls assist.
and i have to specificall mark or change the grid color occording to creterias.
like, say, the grids are drawn on a river map, i have to validate the depth on different region,so here the grid, make the grids color should be change dynamically on the river depth.
Or, plz suggest me, how we can validate the one grid as my one region and put the values on that region.

Please check this link as it might have the solution that you are looking for. There is also an example on mapping in the Step By Step Excel VBA book.
